This was an all day offsite meeting and some really interesting talks went on! I organized each speaker using colour codes and made the name of each speaker bigger so that they would stand out. I used a grid as the structure for the first time, and that was really useful for such a lot of information. I also find in doing live scribing that having some personal touch is also important (sandwiches people were eating to to the funny water bottles on the tables) as people remember and associate with these things. The meeting lasted about 7 hours and I worked through out it, taking it home and doing about an hour of touch up later. Looking forward to my next graphic facilitation event tomorrow!

That Julie Swetnick story looks like it was set up by the Brett Kavanaugh Camp.. in order to discredit accusations in general.. very suspicious.

This a project I've been working on for a few days now and aimed to finish it by the time a new president was elected, but that may not happen now (finishing it I mean). What's more important I realize is to really do it well and do it in a way that is useful to people and not only something that looks good on their walls but really helps explain and understand American History at a glance. I have gotten comments from an old professor of mine that perhaps try and show more positive events as well as wars and the treatment of native americans and african americans. For this reason I would like to get feedback from professionals in the field of American History, to whom I will send out copies.
